Kask has announced a new design for its best-selling Mojito helmet. The new helmet has been designed in partnership with the Maratona dles Dolomites organisers as part of Kask’s sponsorship of the event.
The Maratona dles Dolomites (Dolomites Marathon) is an Italian gran fondo that is run over three different courses ranging from 55km to 138km our own Vecchiojo rode it a couple of years back. The event centres on Alta Badia, in the north of the country.

The decision to sponsor the event, as well as create the helmet, is part of Kask’s 100% ‘Made in Italy’ drive, which is an initiative to promote ‘the passion, craftsmanship and quality of Italian cycling’.
The Mojito is a close-fitting helmet with 26 vents. It comes with removable and washable CoolMax padding. Kask claim a weight of 220g (medium).

The Maratona edition Mojito will be available in two colour options, black and white. They’ll be available to buy from May - no word on pricing yet for this special edtion, but the standard issue Mojito will set you back around £120 so we can assume it's going to be somewere in that ball park.
